Dr Louise is originally from Leixlip and graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. She joined the North East Regional General Practice Training scheme and worked in paediatrics, cardiology, and psychiatry and in obstetrics & gynaecology. After her hospital training, she gained further general practice experience in practices in rural Meath and in Drogheda.
During her training, she attained a Diploma in Women’s Health, a certificate in contraception and is a certified inserter of long acting reversible contraception. Since joining the practice in 2014, she has set up a long term contraception service which includes insertion and removal of mirena coils and implanon devices.
