Dr Caroline joined the practice team in January 2022 and works on Wednesdays and Fridays.
She graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2009 and completed her internship in St James Hospital Dublin. Following this she entered the North Eastern Regional General Practice Training Scheme and completed hospital posts in Psychiatry, General Medicine, Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Since 2016 she has combined clinical and academic roles. She is currently a Clinical Lecturer at the RCSI, University for Medicine and Health Sciences where she teaches medical students. Her research centres around patient safety, particularly with respect to medicines.
During her training Dr Caroline attained a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She is experienced in inserting long acting reversible contraceptives such as the progesterone implant and intra-uterine coils. She also has a special interest in exercise medicine, or the use of physical activity to prevent and treat disease.
